“Growing Promise” hosted by Lester Holt aired originally on NBC on Sunday, May 20, 2018.  The episode on medical marijuana is an important one for the cannabis industry as it highlights the many reported benefits medical marijuana can have for many people.

Harry Smith and others did an in-depth story about the medical marijuana (cannabis) industry.

There are many stories about the successes that patients have seen by using cannabis including children and NFL player Eugene Monroe.

They discussed the first scientific evidence that Cannabis works to treat a form of Epilepsy.  Although there have been many anecdotes about cannabis success, because of federal law, there has been little “scientific” testing done on this potential life changer.
