In October 2017 Liberty Health Services Inc. signed an agreement with Resolve Digital Health Inc. to create a new delivery system of medical marijuana to Floridians. Resolve is a leading provider in the medical cannabis field and Liberty was one of the first Canadian medical marijuana companies to start distribution within the US. Currently, Liberty runs and manages one of the 13  licenses in Florida.  

The proposed product with provide high quality, clean and pharmaceutical grade cannabis through Resolves Breeze Smart Inhalers, which issue a meter based dose and tracks how much the patient has consumed on a daily basis. Patients can adjust the dosage depending on their pain level. These inhalers can be managed by a Breeze Smart app, which also notes weather and other environmental conditions, tracks sleep patterns and collect usage data.

This smart technology is also a great way to improve the patient’s experience of using medical pot, but is also a good communication tool for the prescribing doctors. With the usage being recorded patients have to share this information with a doctor or any medical professional in order to get refills, which enhances the safety of these products because of the required monitoring. These systems are highly monitored, are easy to use and compact. Additionally, all the doses are pre-measured and packed, which takes the stress of being unsure how much  a patient is actually getting out of their hands. Resolve and Liberty are committed to creating the highest standard of care for cannabis patients of Florida by raising the bar in consumer products and experiences

These products have been in development for over three years, and both industries expect patients will have access to the inhalers at their dispensaries starting in early 2018.
