What are the medical conditions that can be treated with medical marijuana in Florida

Doctors also have the ability to recommend medical marijuana if the patient is exhibiting the same type of debilitating symptoms as the identified medical conditions and the use of medical marijuana outweighs the risk.


How do I get a medical marijuana card?

There are three high level steps to the process. A physician needs to perform a thorough examination, recommend medical marijuana, the patient needs to apply for and receive a medical card, and then the patient may purchase the approved type/amount of cannabis from a licensed dispensary.


How long does it take to get a card?

Oils and vapor are currently approved. The State is currently working on regulation regarding edibles and there are groups that are trying to get flower/smokable products legalized.
