Navy Pier Deals, Promos & Hours

Navy Pier does not allow cannabis, and Illinois bans consuming it in public, including on the lakefront, in parks and on the street. Most downtown hotels do not allow it in rooms either.

Navy Pier sits at the east end of Streeterville, a short walk from the Magnificent Mile, and downtown Chicago has dispensaries within a short ride of the pier and the hotels around it, which suits visitors staying anywhere in the Loop, River North or Streeterville.

The deals below come from stores within about three miles of Navy Pier and are refreshed daily. Illinois sells to adults 21 and over with a valid ID; out-of-state visitors can buy too, in smaller amounts than residents. Illinois law stops dispensary sales at 10 p.m., so plan to shop before an evening at the pier. Because the pier, the lakefront and most downtown hotels do not allow cannabis, plan where you will use what you buy before you shop.

• CTA buses run along Grand Avenue and Illinois Street between the pier and the Red Line.
• Keep purchases sealed while driving. Open cannabis in a vehicle is illegal in Illinois.
• Do not drive after consuming. Illinois treats cannabis impairment like alcohol.
