The Green Lady Dispensary began as a pioneering family venture in August 2019 when the Campbell family opened their first location on Nantucket Island, becoming the 23rd recreational and medical retail store to launch in Massachusetts that year. As the first minority and women-owned cannabis company to establish itself in Massachusetts, they broke significant ground in industry diversity and inclusion.Founded by Nicole and Rupert Campbell alongside their two daughters, The Green Lady earned Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office certification as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE). Their commitment to excellence quickly gained recognition, earning multiple 2022 NECANN awards including Best New England Cannabis Company, Champion in Diversity and Inclusion, and Best Cannabis Innovation for their Hash Rosin Chews.In 2023, the family expanded to mainland Massachusetts with a Newton Centre location, followed by entry into the New York market.
