Oregonix Farm

Oregonix Farm represents the perfect fusion of cannabis cultivation expertise spanning over two decades. Founded by CEO David Schwimmer and COO Owen Papworth, the company began its roots in Oregon's mature cannabis market, where the founders accumulated over 20 years of cultivation experience under the Oregon medical cannabis program. David previously found success in the insurance industry before transitioning to cannabis, eventually taking the reins at Green Oasis Dispensary in Oregon and achieving a successful exit. When Illinois issued new craft grow licenses, Oregonix saw a prime opportunity to extend their expertise from Oregon's 25-year-old cannabis industry to the Illinois market. The company established operations in Huntley, Illinois, just outside Chicago, with a 27,500-square-foot phase 1 cultivation facility featuring 5,000 square feet dedicated to flower production. In late 2024, Oregonix launched their inaugural brand "Northern Heights," introducing a curated selection of premium cannabis products to adult-use dispensaries throughout Illinois. The company has ambitious expansion plans, aiming to increase flower production space to 14,000 square feet while adding processing facilities and an infusion kitchen in phase 2 development.
