Our story
Founded by third-generation Southwestern Pennsylvania residents turned cannabis advocates, Maitri Genetics began with a deeply personal connection to the plant's healing potential. What started as individual journeys toward wellness transformed into a mission to bring exceptional cannabis to Pennsylvania patients. In August 2020, they launched their first products to overwhelming demand, featuring unique strains like Grape Velvet and Orange Frosting that quickly captured the market's attention. As part of Maitri Holdings' vertically integrated operation alongside Maitri Medicinals dispensaries, the company rapidly established itself as Pennsylvania's premier craft cannabis producer. Their commitment to quality and innovation led to recognition as the state's #1 producer of craft flower, with one of the most diverse strain libraries in the United States. From their humble beginnings to their current status as industry leaders, Maitri Genetics has remained true to their local roots while pioneering new cannabis experiences for patients throughout Pennsylvania.
