Our story

Dulze's journey began in 2016, driven by a deeply personal mission from Chef Mike Moya, a High Times Top Cannabis Chef winner. Growing up between Juarez, Mexico and El Paso, Texas, Mike was inspired to create a product for his grandmother, who struggled with pain management from childhood polio. He wanted to offer her an alternative to prescription medications through cannabis, giving birth to the brand's beloved slogan: "Abuelita Approved."After launching recreationally in September 2020, Dulze became California's first Mexican-owned cannabis edibles brand. What started as a passion project evolved through years of dedication, with Mike eventually partnering with Rene Bosquez and securing a manufacturing deal with Superb in Santa Ana, California. The journey required six years of sacrifice, countless miles traveled, and unwavering commitment to bringing authentic Mexican flavors to the cannabis industry.Founded alongside artist Johnny, Dulze remains a family-owned operation emphasizing teamwork, loyalty, and community support. What began with one chef's dream has grown into a recognized brand celebrating Latino heritage while educating consumers about responsible cannabis consumption.
