Our story

CoCo Farms was founded in 2018 by brothers Martin and Andrew Wesley, former Silicon Valley entrepreneurs who recognized the immense potential in California's emerging legal cannabis market. After 25 years in the tech startup world, they transitioned their expertise to cannabis, opening their first location as Rio Vista Farms in June 2018.The brand's expansion story began when customer data revealed that many clients traveled from Antioch, Brentwood, and surrounding Contra Costa County areas. Recognizing this opportunity, Antioch's economic development department approached the Wesley brothers to become the face of cannabis in their city. CoCo Farms opened their second location in Antioch on Christmas Eve 2019, holding their grand opening celebration on February 1, 2020.Since then, the company has grown rapidly through strategic acquisitions and vertical integration. They took over two struggling dispensaries, opened VTown Farms in Vallejo in July 2021, and launched a Concord location in 2022. Their startup background has been instrumental in navigating the challenges of building a cannabis empire while maintaining their commitment to affordability and quality.

They maintain strict quality control standards, ensuring every product meets rigorous testing requirements.CoCo Farms demonstrates strong social responsibility through partnerships with local organizations like Loaves and Fishes and Beat the Streets.
