Our story

Cloud Cover Cannabis was founded in 2018 by brothers Ankur and Vishal Rungta, along with their longtime friend Joel Ruggiero, as part of C3 Industries. The brand launched with their first state-of-the-art 36,000-square-foot cultivation facility in Portland, Oregon. Within just six months of commencing production, Cloud Cover became one of the top Oregon cannabis brands. In 2021, C3 raised $25 million in an upsized equity raise led by Madison Square Park Capital, originally pursuing $10 million but receiving over $50 million in verbal commitments. That same year, the brand underwent a comprehensive refresh with updated packaging design and brand strategy to better represent their premium market position.Cloud Cover expanded to Missouri in early 2023, launching exclusively at High Profile Cannabis Shop locations. Today, the brand operates across multiple states with nearly 275,000 square feet of cultivation and processing facilities, maintaining their commitment to small-batch, premium cannabis production that satisfies true connoisseurs.
