Wellness Connection in Maine

Wellness Connection of Maine began as an operator of state-licensed medical cannabis dispensaries and has since moved into the recreational market. It is vertically integrated: products are grown in the company's own indoor garden, extracted in a CO2 lab in Auburn and made into edibles in a licensed kitchen in Gardiner. Its stores sell mainly its house brand, HighNorth, and several now use the HighNorth Mystique of Maine name. Locations include Portland, Gardiner and Brewer.

The shops are adult-use stores open to anyone 21 or older with valid ID, and walk-ins are welcome. Maine medical card holders still receive medical pricing, a holdover from the company's roots in the medical program. Menus cover flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles, concentrates, tinctures, topicals and accessories, and the stores offer online ordering for pickup and a loyalty program. Reviewers often describe the stores as bright and spacious with helpful staff, though some long-time medical patients have been unhappy with product changes as the business shifted toward recreational sales.
