Solar

Solar Cannabis Co. is a vertically integrated adult-use operator based in Somerset, Massachusetts, where it grows and processes cannabis in a large indoor facility built around on-site solar arrays, combined heat and power units, LED lighting and water reclamation. Sustainability is the company's central theme. It runs dispensaries in Somerset, Seekonk and Dartmouth in Massachusetts and in Warwick, Rhode Island, all open to adults 21 and over.

The shops stock Solar's own flower, non-solvent concentrates, CO2 extracts and plant-based gummies, alongside outside brands such as Stone Road and byky, plus pre-rolls, vapes, tinctures and topicals. Orders can be placed online or through the company's app for in-store pickup. The Seekonk store sits in a renovated former donut shop on Route 6, and the Dartmouth store is a newer build with several checkout counters and budtenders who speak Spanish. A points-based loyalty program, the Solar Insiders Club, runs across locations. Reviewers often mention helpful staff, and some note that prices run higher than at nearby competitors.
