Ponderosa Dispensary Phoenix (Formerly Health for Life Cave Creek)

Ponderosa Dispensary, known to regulars as Pondy, is a locally owned Arizona cannabis retailer that has operated since 2013, with 6 stores listed in this directory. Locations include Glendale in the Phoenix area, Tucson and Flagstaff. In 2021 the company combined with Sonoran Roots, an Arizona cultivator, and Sonoran Roots flower and Canamo Concentrates are now its in-house brands.

Stores stock those house lines alongside other brands across flower, concentrates, edibles, topicals and pre-rolls, and customers note that new strains appear regularly. The Ponderosa app shows live menus for each location, lets shoppers pre-order to skip the line, and tracks loyalty points that can be redeemed for discounts. It also sends notices about product launches and in-store events. The Glendale store lists an ATM, ADA access and a veterans discount. Adult-use shoppers need to be 21 or older with a valid ID. Visitors often mention friendly, knowledgeable budtenders and a relaxed, familiar atmosphere.
