Founded by Mark and Jaime Toigo along with colleague Ryan Simpson, who built a foundation of knowledge in the medical marijuana industry before Pennsylvania's Medical Marijuana Act in 2016. Mark brought horticultural expertise from operating the largest organic tomato greenhouse in North America, while Jaime contributed construction industry experience and community relationships. They partnered with pharmacist Eric Hauser to open their first dispensary in February 2018, driven by a vision of providing organic alternatives to traditional pharmaceutical medications.

Organic Remedies operates a 250,000 square foot state-of-the-art cultivation facility in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, following Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and FDA guidelines. They are the first and only Carbon Free Marijuana Organization in Pennsylvania, have a partnership with Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine for research, and require mandatory pharmacist consultations for all new patients. They also engage in community philanthropy, including raising $20,000 for the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition.
