Greenlight in Illinois

Greenlight is a dispensary chain whose listing here covers 33 stores in Illinois, West Virginia, Missouri, Nevada, Arkansas, South Dakota and Ohio. Missouri is its largest market, with stores in Kansas City, Independence, Springfield, Columbia, Joplin, Branson, Cape Girardeau and a string of smaller towns across the state. In Ohio, some stores took over locations that previously operated as The Forest, and West Virginia stores include Beckley, Princeton, Lewisburg and Summersville.

The company describes itself as vertically integrated where the law allows, growing and producing its own cannabis from seed to sale, while in retail-only markets it buys from outside growers and producers that meet its quality standards. Its founders say they came up with the marijuana farmer's market format, which brings producers and customers together, and the stores run under a cannabis with culture tagline. The Marengo, Ohio store adds a drive-thru to its sales floor. Hours differ considerably between locations, so check the individual store listing before a trip.
