Fresh Delaware in Delaware

Fresh Delaware is the Delaware arm of Fresh Cannabis, a dispensary brand that also has stores in Colorado and New Jersey. It began as a medical marijuana dispensary serving the state's registered patients, and after Delaware opened its adult-use market it received a permit to add recreational sales. Its Delaware stores are in Newark, near the University of Delaware on East Main Street, and downstate in Seaford and Milford.

Menus cover flower, vapes and cartridges, pre-rolls, concentrates and edibles, and the company runs a loyalty program and posts daily specials online. Patient reviews from its medical years describe staff who put nervous first-time visitors at ease, while some felt the selection was narrow. Recreational customers need to be 21 or older with valid ID; registered medical patients bring their state card. Under Delaware law, licensed dispensaries may deliver only to qualified medical patients, and state regulators have warned that flyers offering recreational delivery in Fresh's name around Newark are fraudulent, so recreational purchases are made in store.
