With the growing number of U.S. states and cities legalizing the medical and recreational use of marijuana, the steady trickle of other states and cities following suit comes as no surprise. Weed dispensaries are now popping up in cities all over the United States, and Titusville, Florida, can now be counted as one of them. The passing of Amendment 2 back in 2016, as voted on by the residents of Florida, made this possible.

News Press writes that deliveries are frequent, convenient and efficient throughout the State.

As many Florida communities ban or delay the opening of marijuana dispensaries, the state’s cannabis producers and retailers have used deliveries to meet booming demand. Some of the largest such companies say that between a third and half of their customers now get the drug this way.

Florida had 28 cannabis dispensaries as of this week, roughly one for every 3,000 patients using the drug, according to the state Office of Medical Marijuana Use.

TC Palm updates us about Dispensaries in the Vero Beach and Port St. Lucie areas.

What this means is greater convenience for area patients, who will now be able to consult in person with knowledgeable staff on products and dosage. Phone consultations and mail orders can be a thing of the past.

And should these two dispensaries open and operate without any problems, which we anticipate will be the case, we expect to see others popping up along the Treasure Coast as the stigma dissipates — and everyone begins to regard cannabis being sold as the medicine it is.
