Senator Brandes and Rep Rodriquez confirmed that they have a proposal that would allow patients to purchase smokable medical marijuana. There would be a limit on the amount you can buy and have, and the ban on smoking in public will remain. The Governor had given a deadline of March 15, and it looks like the state will move forward in time.
TALLAHASSEE — With plenty of breathing room before a March 15 deadline set by Gov. Ron DeSantis, House and Senate leaders are close to doing away with a state ban on smoking medical marijuana.
